Jinjing Lane Residence | Garden

Like a fortress, the site is encircled by a moat with a single point of access. Upon crossing the bridge, an expansive stretch of open land unfolds. Following the road onward, the terrain gently rises and narrows into a valley with pristine mountains flanking both sides. The landscape is both secluded and spectacular, nestled in nature’s embrace.

The landscape design draws inspiration from Kyoto’s gardens. With meticulous attention to detail, the garden features an 85m long creek with cascading water, lotus ponds and koi ponds, artfully sculpted rock formations, meandering pathways underneath majestic trees, and carefully curated plantings of bamboo groves, ferns and shrubbery. The garden is experiential—a shifting composition that invites movement, reflection, and immersion in nature. Through careful curation, the expansive landscape unfolds into pockets of delightful discovery, where moments of awe seamlessly blend with moments of serene intimacy.
